Based in New York, Ifill Reel Productions is an indie collaborative team of creatives from all over the world, including animators, audio engineers, composers, illustrators, motion graphic designers, musicians, sound designers, video editors, and voice over artists, that work together to provide high quality children's "edutainment" where children of color are a central part of the narrative. It all began, when Chief Creative Officer, Samantha McEachin-Ifill was a child abuse and neglect prosecutor and saw how sometimes children's innocence was lost or stolen from them and she somehow wanted to create a "Lost & Found" for childhood. That's why she started Ifill Reel Productions! In addition, Samantha wanted to create a place where stories filled with diverse characters were waiting to be shared with kids everywhere because there is a direct correlation between self-esteem in children and negative portrayals of or the paucity of characters of color in film and television.
So, in 2016 the concept of Ifill Reel Productions was born with the hope of bringing animation, entertainment and happiness to children all over the world.
Content themes focus on diversity, inclusion, positive emotional and social development.
